A 3-in-1 smart curtain robot that hangs on a T-track, U-track or roman pole and moves the curtain from the Tuya / Smart Life app, Alexa or the handset. Schedules, light sensing and part-open positions as standard; no wiring and no track replacement.
A smart curtain opener that turns an ordinary curtain into a scheduled, voice-controlled one without touching the track. It hangs on the hardware you already have, grips the curtain and drives it along, and the rest happens in the Tuya / Smart Life app.
The 3-in-1 part is the point: one unit, three interchangeable adapters, so the same robot fits a T-shaped ceiling track, a U-shaped track or a roman pole. Stock one model instead of three.
Curtain hardware is not standard. A hotel ceiling track, a domestic U-profile and a round decorative pole need three different ways to hang a drive, which is why most curtain robots only fit one of them.
This unit ships with all three adapters in the box and they swap without tools: the T-track adapter, the U-track adapter and the roman pole adapter, each with its own pair of clips. A project that mixes a track in the living room and a pole in the bedroom is still one SKU.
The adapters are replaceable, so a damaged clip does not write off the unit — worth saying out loud, because that is how these products usually fail in service.
The bracket clamps over the track or pole, the body hangs below it, and the curtain’s leading edge is clipped to the unit. The robot then travels along the hardware and takes the fabric with it.
Nothing is cut into the wall and there is no cable to the window. The track stays, the brackets stay, the curtains stay — which is what makes a smart curtain opener usable in a finished room, a rental or a hotel floor that cannot come out of service.
Charging is over USB, so there is no fixed wiring and nothing to certify. The unit does have to come down occasionally to charge, so the mounting position needs to be reachable — agree that at survey stage, not after installation.
Pairing is through Tuya / Smart Life. From the app you get the things that make this a smart curtain robot rather than a motorised toy:
Alexa control works through the same Tuya account: “Alexa, open the curtains” is the whole integration, no separate hub. For a hotel room or a show home that is usually enough — the guest never learns an app, and the handset stays in the drawer as the fallback.
A handset is included for the cases voice and app cannot cover: no Wi-Fi yet, a guest who will not install anything, an installer commissioning the unit before the network is live.
Most buyers ask for app control and then, in practice, use two things: a schedule and a light trigger. The schedule handles morning and evening. The light sensor handles the afternoon sun — the curtain closes when the window gets bright, before the room heats up, which is the argument that sells this to anyone with a west-facing room.
Both are set in the app and both can be left off. A smart curtain opener that only responds to a handset is still a legitimate configuration; the automation is optional, not mandatory.
This is the section most listings leave out, and it is the one that decides whether a project succeeds. A smart curtain opener that skips this list is the one that comes back.
Three products on this site solve overlapping problems, and the difference is worth ten seconds of your time:
Not sure whether this robot or one of the other three approaches suits the room? We wrote the whole comparison — track motor, clip-on robot, drive in the pole, lit track — here: how to choose between motorized curtain options.
No. The unit pairs directly over Wi-Fi through the Tuya / Smart Life app. The app, the handset and Alexa all address the same unit — every smart curtain opener we ship is commissioned the same way.
Alexa and the Tuya / Smart Life app are the confirmed integrations on this model. If a project specifies Google Home, tell us at enquiry stage and we will confirm the current firmware support rather than let you promise it on our behalf.
The handset and the button on the body still work. Schedules live in the app, so those stop until the unit is back online — worth knowing before a hotel writes “app controlled” into a guest-facing description.
Passable corners depend on the profile. Send a photograph of the corner and the track end and we will answer before quotation; a bay that is too tight for the robot is usually a track question rather than an opener question.
Same principle, different control. The other unit is handset-only and fits tracks; this one adds the Tuya app, Alexa, schedules and light sensing, and fits a track or a roman pole. Both are in the same curtain robots range.
It depends on how often the curtain moves and how heavy it is, so we quote it with the unit rather than publish one figure that will be wrong for half the projects. The app shows the remaining charge, which in practice matters more than the headline number.
Send the track profile (or pole diameter), a photograph of the corner if there is one, and how many openings the room has. Every smart curtain opener enquiry comes back with the adapter set, the unit count and the lead time.
